Regulatory Compliance
All HIWIN locations in Taiwan are located in industrial parks and science parks planned for manufacturers. Factory locations and leased areas have already passed the government’s environmental impact assessment and are not environmentally sensitive areas. HIWIN has also established a self-assessment system to ensure our operations do not have any significant or material impact on surrounding species. In 2021, there were no cases of significant leaks.
Between 2017 and 2021, there were 10 penalties and HIWIN was fined a total of NT$407,000.
