Core Concepts for Human Resources
HIWIN values human resources - a belief of the founders that is apparent in how employees are listed as the first among the four major pillars of HIWIN's business mindset (employees, shareholders, longterm development, and CSR).
HIWIN's core concepts for human resources originate from its business mindset: "Professional Excellence, Working Enthusiasm, and Ethics & Responsibility." which refers to:
The various systems of human resources and the workplace environment are designed and implemented in accordance with the aforementioned philosophy. We clearly convey the company's business philosophy to all employees through new hire training upon their first day at HIWIN. Employees are also continuously reminded to uphold these principles through reminders on their employee badges and during daily morning exercises and monthly morning meetings - in hopes that they can wholeheartedly identify with the company's business philosophy and continue to work, learn, and grow at HIWIN.
HIWIN believes that "talent" is the company's greatest asset - only when teams create value can the company lead a meaningful existence. HIWIN's talent retention policy and systems predicated on the two main axes of "Caring for Employees" and "Nurturing and Developing Employees."
Implementation
With regard to talent retention, HIWIN -through the areas of "salary and benefits", "training and development", "employee health management", and "family activities", etc., – ensures that our employees are reasonably compensated, maintain physical and mental health, and receive family support to allay worries for continued learning, dedication, and growth. Each area is implemented by the PDCA management method. Goals are set at the beginning of the year, then reviewed and revised in the middle of the year (by quarterly). At the end of the year, a review is conducted and feedback is collected to set goals for a positive cycle and continued improvements.
