Labor-Management Meetings
HIWIN does not have a union with which it has signed a collective agreement. But the company listens to employee feedback through quarterly labor management meetings to conduct two way communication with employees. By allowing an exchange of opinions and making subsequent improvements, HIWIN maintains harmonious labor relations.
Care Visits to Foreign Employees
For foreign employees, HIWIN provides a Handy Guide for living in Taiwan and conducts individual interviews to ascertain their needs and aspects of their lives which require further education. HIWIN provides open and accessible feedback channels for complaints and provides the necessary assistance and support to resolve problems, allowing foreign employees to work with peace of mind at HIWIN.
Employee Dedicated Mailbox
HIWIN values employee voice and has three employee suggestion e-mails available, so that employee feedback can be directly sent to the Global Chairman, Chairman, President and Human resources department to ensure rapid, fair, and confidential processing. A temporary task force is set up according to the contents of the complaint to conduct investigations and interviews, allowing employee opinions to be handled in an objective and comprehensive manner. All past complaints have been satisfactorily resolved.
